Places to stay in Copenhagen. The forgotten city-centre landmark undergoes an ambitious makeover into Copenhagen’s newest grande dame.
They’ve conquered land and rail. Now, Belmond and Orient Express set sail for the world’s most elegant horizon.
Belmond Orient Express Corinthian Yacht 2026 is set to become a reality. For decades, Belmond Hotels has embodied timeless elegance and luxury across legendary destinations. From Venice to Machu Picchu. Known for its iconic hotels, trains, and river journeys, Belmond is now preparing to conquer the open seas in partnership with Orient Express.

The Orient-Express Corinthian: measuring an impressive 220 metres and crowned with three soaring masts, the Orient Express Corinthian will be among the largest sailing yachts in the world.
Designed in an Art Deco style, it features 54 lavish suites, two pools, a Parisian-inspired cabaret lounge, a recording studio, and a culinary program led by Michelin-starred Chef Yannick Alléno.
Guests will enjoy an atmosphere reminiscent of the golden age of travel, combining the sophistication of vintage ocean liners with the innovation of modern sustainability.
“A refined interpretation of the golden age of rail travel—reimagined for the sea.” — Maxime d’Angeac, Artistic Director of Orient Express

BOOK WITH VIP-PERKSThe Corinthian’s inaugural voyage will depart from Lisbon on October 12th, 2026, marking the beginning of a 14-night transatlantic journey to Barbados.
After that, itineraries will unfold across Mediterranean summers and Caribbean escapes, with destinations including Saint-Barth, Moskito Island, the Exumas, and Tobago Cays—carefully selected for their beauty and exclusivity. Every itinerary feels like a love letter to the coastlines of the world.
While the Orient Express Corinthian defines the next wave of grand sailing, Belmond already masters the art of water travel through its Les Bateaux Belmond collection in France.
These intimate river cruises glide through Burgundy, Camargue, and the Canal du Midi, complete with private chefs, fine wines, and curated itineraries that celebrate French gastronomy and culture.
Whether you dream of a romantic French river journey or a transoceanic voyage, Belmond’s signature craftsmanship ensures a journey like no other.

TRAVEL DESIGN REQUESTThe Orient Express Corinthian isn’t just a symbol of beauty, it’s also an innovation in sustainable travel.
Equipped with SolidSail technology, its three rigid sails span 16,000 square feet, allowing for up to 100% wind propulsion depending on weather conditions. A liquefied natural gas (LNG) system ensures eco-friendly navigation even when the sails rest.
This approach echoes Belmond’s philosophy: luxury should inspire, not consume.
Both Belmond and Orient Express are part of the Accor Group’s luxury portfolio, with LVMH joining forces in 2024. Their shared DNA—heritage, artistry, and innovation—makes this sea collaboration a natural evolution.
From Belmond hotels in Europe to Orient Express trains and now the Corinthian yacht, each experience offers something uniquely refined yet deeply connected to the brand’s essence: the pursuit of beauty, culture, and emotion through travel.
